After the revelation of the Chou-Hou relationship, Jolin Tsai and Jay Chou haven't "said" a word to each other, but it was confirmed yesterday that for Jolin's new album, which will come out next month, she will "use" Jay's fast song. Sony Record company's chief inspector (literal translation) Liu Tian Jian said that after going through a couple of meetings and hearing the song that Jay wrote for Jolin, the company believes the song really is excellent and decided to buy this song. "The love is gone, but love songs must still be sung!" Liu Tian Jian has taken Director Chou's fast song and given it to five lyricists to write the lyrics. Sony's Record Company hopes to use the idea of what Jolin said about her and her relationship with Jay, "Once we were close, once we were strangers," to be the main idea of the song.
From the big sales of "Kan Wo 72 Bian" and "Castle", it cannot be denied that Jolin's songs are "Super Successful", and Jay's songs have added a lot of points. After Sony Record company received Director Chou's fast song, they hope even more that Director Chou will write a slow song for Jolin, after all, a touching slow song will guarantee good sales. "But, Director Chou hasn't written it yet, we're still waiting," said Liu Tian Jian.
In regards to singing songs that Jay has written, Jolin has no complaints. She said, "I will respect my company's decision." The "Pepsi Stormy Award Ceremony" (literal translation) will take place on the 20th and is one of the three biggest music award shows in mainland China. Jay and Jolin, who are both very popular in the Mainland, were invited to attend. Jolin was originally going to go, but after hearing that Jay would be present and being sensitive to Jolin's current feelings, Jolin's company decided to avoid the embarrassment of having Jolin stand on stage with Jay at the same time, given the circumstances. Jolin will stay in Taipei to film a commercial.
In the love department, Jolin has faced disappointment, but in the celebrity market she has been a big success. When Jolin and Show/Luo Zhi Xiang's segment on "Kang Xi Lai Le" was broadcast on Monday, they received a television audience rating of 2.41, surpassing the record made by Jiang You Bai.
